Romney takes big early lead in Nevada voting
LAS VEGAS (Reuters) – Republican front-runner Mitt Romney appeared headed to an easy win in Nevada on Saturday that would put him in firm command of the party’s see-sawing presidential nominating race. Early vote results reported by CNN showed Romney grabbing a big lead. With 3 percent of precincts counted, Romney had 52 percent, well ahead of U.S. Representative Ron Paul’s 20 percent. Former U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Newt Gingrich was in third with 19 percent and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum was last with 9 percent. …
